Research for design strategy requires meaning, and ChatGPT generates something that the receiver turns into meaning. Therefore, it does not represent other humans conveying their meaning.

It won't work. That's why there are people turning away from your offering without using it.

Research is about building new knowledge. Search engines don't build new knowledge--they tell you about what knowledge other humans have built. ChatGPT is exactly this.

Research is about understanding the meaning other people convey about particular interior cognition of theirs as they addressed a particular purpose.
